TranceMist is my on-line pseudonym.
It is a concept I came up with several years ago as I was thinking of a way to create an on-line identity that reflected my interests and personality.
I live in Atlanta and work for a large computer company that believes in open standards and open source.
My interests are mountains, backpacking, photography, and mobile technology.

The logo that I use for my site, and in some cases my icon, was taken early one morning in June of 2000 from the viewing platform at Snowbird Mountain Lodge, near Robbinsville, North Carolina.
